Flat top tower cranes are widely used for infrastructure and commercial building projects across the Middle East desert regions. First, ensure proper heat dissipation and high-temperature lubrication. Clean sand deposits on cooling fans and radiators daily to prevent overheating. Avoid continuous full-load operation during midday peak heat. Use high-temperature-resistant lubricants and shorten the lubricant replacement cycle. Keep main bearings and slewing gears well sealed and lubricated to avoid sand damage and thermal failure.
Second, protect electrical systems from sand and heat damage. Inspect cables, control cabinets, sensors and junction boxes weekly. Repair damaged cable sleeves, add sun-proof and dust-proof covers, and fully seal electrical enclosures. Shield inverters and main control systems from direct sunlight to prevent electronic damage and ensure stable control performance.
Third, inspect structural frames and connections regularly. Tighten key bolts on the jib and tower sections weekly. Repair chipped anti-corrosion paint promptly to avoid rust and structural risks. Install dust-proof structures for slewing and trolley systems, and remove accumulated sand to reduce mechanical wear.
Fourth, carry out daily pre-operation inspections. Test limit switches, brakes, anti-collision systems and load monitors before use, and check brake performance, hydraulics and wire ropes. Avoid heavy lifting during the hottest hours, and schedule major maintenance during cooler morning or evening periods.
Fifth, perform quarterly deep maintenance and manage spare parts. Conduct full machine servicing every 3 months, including oil changes, mechanical calibration and core component inspections. Store vulnerable parts such as bearings and gears in a cool, dust-free environment. Cooperate with official after-sales inspections and warranty support to eliminate hidden risks early.
