This feature takes you to an active construction site, where a series of real-life photos documents the entire tower crane installation process-from ground-level preparations to the completion of the fully assembled unit. Each key assembly step is clearly captured, intuitively demonstrating the site's standardized, safe operating procedures.

Ground-Level Component Pre-inspection and Preparation

3jpgTower body frames, mast sections, and core upper components are neatly arranged. Personnel inspect all structural parts and connecting pins in advance to ensure there is no deformation or damage, completing the necessary pre-hoisting preparations.

Hoisting the Slewing Assembly and Operator's Cab

A mobile crane is used to hoist the slewing mechanism and operator's cab as a single unit to the top of the tower body. All connecting bolts are tightened to standard torque specifications, and basic control circuits undergo preliminary testing following assembly.

Hoisting the Jib and Precision High-Altitude Alignment

The jib frame is hoisted into the air as a single unit. On-site workers perform precise high-altitude alignment between the jib and the tower-top support, repeatedly calibrating the connection accuracy to ensure the structural stability of the entire crane.

Assembly of Counter-jib and Counterweights

Once the main jib is secured, the counter-jib is installed and counterweights are positioned to balance the machine; the complete set of steel wire ropes for hoisting and luffing is then threaded and secured.

System Commissioning, Acceptance, and Completion

With assembly complete, the tower crane stands securely on the construction site. Technicians conduct test runs under no-load and rated-load conditions and calibrate all safety limit devices. Upon passing final acceptance, the crane is ready for construction material lifting operations.
The photos clearly illustrate on-site safety management standards: personnel working at heights wear full protective gear at all times; hoisting operations are immediately halted during high winds; and all connection points undergo secondary inspections to eliminate potential assembly hazards.
We supply a full range of tower cranes and compatible construction hoists, offering professional remote technical guidance on tower erection for overseas clients to ensure safe and efficient equipment assembly at various construction sites.
