Anti-corrosion process and material standards

Anti-corrosion and rust prevention are the "lifeline" of coastal elevators. Experts suggest that when purchasing equipment, the buyer should pay particular attention to the surface treatment process of the structural components.

For outdoor cargo elevators or high-altitude working platforms, it is necessary to clearly require the manufacturer to provide a heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating system of hot-dip galvanizing or "epoxy zinc-rich primer + polyurethane topcoat".

Taking industry standards as an example, the thickness of the hot-dip galvanizing coating on exposed parts of high-quality equipment should be above 85 μm, and it must pass at least 720 hours of neutral salt spray tests, with a corrosion resistance grade of 9 or above to meet the standards.

At the same time, for precision transmission components such as rack and screw rods, dual-phase stainless steel or special composite materials can be considered to resist long-term erosion in a 3.5% salt water environment.

Upgrade the hydraulic and electrical protection levels

The hydraulic and electrical systems are the "heart" and "nervous system" of the elevator. In the humid coastal environment, the hydraulic pump station and the oil cylinder must have extremely high dust-proof and water-proof capabilities. Only an IP67 level dust-proof ring can effectively withstand the scouring of heavy rain.

At the same time, the electrical control system needs to be equipped with a fully sealed electrical box to prevent salt fog from invading and causing contact oxidation. In addition, it is recommended to prioritize the selection of equipment that is equipped with imported high-precision gear pumps and seals. The volumetric efficiency should be ≥ 92%, and it has undergone tens of thousands of continuous lifting tests, with the leakage volume controlled at an extremely low level, thereby effectively solving the stubborn problems of unstable oil pressure and oil leakage from components.
