In the "check" stage, maintenance personnel need to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the main load-bearing components of the tower body from top to bottom. They should particularly check whether there are any cases of weld separation, deformation, damage or metal fatigue cracks in the tower body's standard sections, ladders, rest platforms, etc. In particular, for critical welds and the base metal in the welding heat affected zone, if any abnormalities are found, the machine must be stopped immediately for handling.

"Fasten" is the key to preventing structural instability. During the long-term operation and vibration of the tower crane, connection components are prone to loosening. The tower crane operator must strictly check the tightening condition of the tower body connection bolts during shift handover. For frequently vibrating parts, such as if the bolts are loose, fall off or the screw threads are exposed abnormally, they must be tightened or supplemented using professional tools. It is strictly prohibited to use washers for leveling or knocking to insert the bolts.

"Inspect" focuses on the appearance and anti-corrosion conditions. Maintenance personnel need to carefully observe whether there is severe rust, paint peeling on the surface of the tower body, and whether there are foreign objects attached. At the same time, they must check whether there is water accumulation or ice formation inside the tower body to prevent long-term corrosion from weakening the structural strength.

"Measure" is a scientific assessment of the overall stability of the tower body. The guideline requires that professional equipment such as level meters, theodolites or total stations must be used to regularly detect the overall verticality of the tower body. For towers over 50 meters in height, the inclination deviation must be strictly controlled within 5/1000 to ensure that the tower body is in an absolutely safe load-bearing state.

The safe operation of tower cranes not only depends on high-quality hardware, but also requires standardized daily maintenance and strict personnel management. All construction units must fulfill their primary responsibility for safety production, ensure that maintenance personnel are 100% certified for their positions, and establish detailed "one machine, one file" maintenance records. At the same time, it is strictly prohibited to carry out operations under adverse weather conditions, and it is strictly forbidden to arbitrarily change the installation and dismantling plans. We must truly ensure that "construction cannot commence until all hidden dangers are eliminated", and use a scientific and rigorous maintenance system to ensure the steady and long-term progress of the construction project.
