2026 foreign trade data for used construction machinery shows that the overseas shipment volume of domestically produced used tower cranes and construction hoists has steadily increased. Orders are concentrated in countries such as Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, and Egypt. Many 6015 and 7020 flat-top tower cranes and SC200/200 variable frequency hoists have been refurbished and shipped in batches to overseas construction sites.

Currently, many small and medium-sized infrastructure projects are starting overseas, but local companies generally have insufficient budgets, and the high prices of new machines in Europe and the United States create significant procurement pressure. my country's existing stock of used cranes is robust, with stable lifting performance and reusable value.

Exporters implement a full set of standardized refurbishment and testing: whole-machine flaw detection, replacement of worn parts such as wire ropes, fall arrestors, and limit switches; dustproof and high-temperature resistant modifications to the electrical control system; thickened anti-corrosion coating to adapt to rainy and sandy environments; all passing load safety tests; and after refurbishment, they can be used stably for 5 to 10 years, meeting the construction safety standards of various countries.

The cost of purchasing used equipment is nearly halved, effectively reducing upfront investment. At the same time, suppliers provide a one-stop service including spare parts supply, installation training, and overseas maintenance. Spare parts are readily available in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, solving customers' maintenance problems.

A Nigerian contractor stated that with numerous infrastructure projects in the region, bulk purchases of new machines are too costly. Domestically produced used tower cranes are easy to assemble and disassemble, have fewer malfunctions, and can be put into construction immediately upon arrival. Southeast Asian customers are also viewing machines online and placing bulk orders for flat-top tower cranes for high-rise projects in urban areas.

Industry analysts believe that the demand for infrastructure along the Belt and Road Initiative is stable in the long term, and the market prospects for affordable used cranes are promising. Domestic traders are continuously optimizing their refurbishment, customs clearance, and cross-border logistics services, expanding their inventory of available models, and steadily increasing the global market share of domestically produced used tower cranes and elevators.
