Electrical system moisture protection and leakage prevention

 

Control cabinet dehumidification and sealing: Regularly check whether the sealing strips of the control box and distribution box are intact to prevent water from seeping in. For equipment that is in a high-humidity environment for a long time, it is recommended to place desiccant or install a moisture-proof heating device in the electrical control cabinet to ensure that the electrical components are dry.
Insulation detection of circuits: Rainwater soaking or high-humidity air will accelerate the aging of the outer skin of wires and cables. It is necessary to carefully check whether the exposed cables are damaged, and promptly wrap or replace the damaged parts. At the same time, regular tests should be conducted on the insulation resistance of the electrical system to prevent leakage, short circuits or switch malfunctions due to moisture.
Contact and brush cleaning: Dampness can cause the contactors' contacts in each control box to rust or stick together. It is necessary to keep the contact surfaces clean, promptly clean the dust and moisture on the electrical equipment, adjust the brush pressure, and ensure that the contact area meets the standard.

 

Hydraulic system is waterproof and anti-pollution.

Prevent rainwater from entering: After rain, it is necessary to promptly check the sealing performance of the hydraulic oil tank cover, the oil injection port, and the connection parts of the pipelines to ensure there is no water accumulation or leakage. If the color of the hydraulic oil becomes white (indicating emulsification) or the oil quality becomes sticky, the machine must be immediately stopped and new oil replaced.
Filter element and oil level inspection: In humid environments, moisture in the air is more likely to enter the oil tank through the breathing valve. It is necessary to regularly check and clean the oil suction filter to prevent impurities and moisture from blocking the system and ensuring the smoothness of the hydraulic circuit.

 

Mechanical structure rust prevention and fastening

 

In environments subject to rain erosion and high humidity, the risk of rusting and loosening of the metal structure will increase exponentially.
Timely cleaning and rust prevention: After rain, the guide rails, steel wires, and transmission parts should be cleaned promptly of mud, water, and debris. For exposed metal friction surfaces, pin shafts, and areas prone to rust, it is necessary to promptly apply anti-rust paint or anti-rust oil to prevent long-term moisture corrosion.
Special inspection of steel wires: Rainwater is highly likely to cause rust inside the steel wires. Careful inspection is required to check for broken wires, loose strands, or severe rusting. If it exceeds the scrap standard, it must be replaced immediately.
Re-tightening of bolts: In humid environments, thermal expansion and contraction as well as rain erosion can cause the connecting bolts of slewing bearings and lifting arms and other key parts to loosen. It is necessary to check the tightness under the pressure of the machine body and ensure that the opening pins of all connecting pin shafts are fully extended.
